I discovered a personal branding tool by accident. I promise personal branding wasn’t on my bingo card. I’m not a fancy graphic designer with a degree. I’m a faith-filled, creative from the Bronx who got curious about tech.
Matter fact, the first logo I ever made wasn’t even supposed to be a logo. I was editing a video for a client and made a thumbnail. It was a simple ladybug design I made in Canva. When my client saw the video, she said, “I love my new logo!” and I’m sittin’ there like, girl, what logo? I realized her excitement wasn’t the logo. She had an epiphany about how she saw herself in her business.
Around 2022 – 2023, I learned how to create AI images. The first image I made, I used ChatGPT to recreate the ladybug logo. I was so excited about the new design, I sent it to my client for fun to see if she could tell it was AI-generated. And sure enough, she couldn’t, and she loved it. Seeing an updated logo motivated her to reopen her business after having her daughter.
That’s when I understood the power of tools like Canva and ChatGPT. When you learn how to talk to AI like it’s your bestie, you can do so many things with confidence.
What Are Personal Branding Tools (and Why Should You Care)?
When people hear “personal branding tools,” they limit it to logos, websites, or a perfectly curated Instagram feed. But here’s the truth: a personal branding tool is anything that helps you show up online as your full, God-given self. For me, AI became one of those tools.
I use ChatGPT to brainstorm taglines, draft blog posts, and yes—even create logo concepts. Not because I’m a pro designer, but because it’s my buddy. I believe AI tools help bridge the gap between your creativity and your curiosity, and that ain’t got anything to do with a degree.
Why AI Belongs in Every Creative Woman’s Toolbox
Let’s be real—if you’re a blogger, coach, side hustler, or just a woman with a story to tell, branding matters. And AI tools? They’re not a cheat code, they’re a blessing. Using ChatGPT to create a logo or write your About page doesn’t mean you’re cutting corners—it means you’re working smarter, not harder.

AI Logo Lab: Personal Branding Tools Made Simple
I created the AI Logo Lab as a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop to help you explore visual branding without feeling overwhelmed. You don’t need design skills or be “tech-savvy.” All you need is an open mind and a creative spirit.
I’m excited to launch the AI Logo Lab as part of the Teach Me How to ChatGPT Series—a virtual event for those curious about ChatGPT. What I teach will level up what you already think you know about AI as a design partner. I’ve partnered with Tisha Crippen, the founder of Touch Management and the creative mind behind Teach Me How to ChatGPT. She’s a fellow tech girlie who’s just as fired up as I am to help women tap into the power of AI prompts.
In the workshop, you’ll learn Tisha’s VIBES formula and how to use ChatGPT as a personal branding tool. You have no more excuses for why you can’t visualize your brand and walk away with something that actually feels like you.
Class Starts
This workshop is perfect for Black women over 35 who are pivoting, evolving, and building businesses from the ground up. The right personal branding tools help you stop second-guessing and start executing.
So if Canva’s got you confused, Fiverr’s not hittin’, and you feel stuck—come through. Teach Me How to ChatGPT: Art Edition is going down on May 29 at 7 PM EST. Let me show you how to pull the images out of your head and into a logo that feels like you.
